Dr. Lawrence D. Kaplan is the founder of Gwinnett Pulmonary & Sleep and has been a trusted leader in pulmonary medicine in Gwinnett County for over 40 years. Since establishing the practice in 1984, he has remained dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping shape the region’s pulmonary and respiratory services. Dr. Kaplan completed his medical training at Emory University, where he also pursued his residency and fellowship in pulmonary medicine. Throughout his career, he has served in key leadership roles, including Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy for the Gwinnett Hospital System, and has played an integral role in advancing respiratory care within the community.
