Lynn Jackman, MSN, APRN, NP-C, CCRN is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing and critical care experience. She joined Gwinnett Pulmonary Group in July 2014, where she provides comprehensive pulmonary and critical care management for patients with complex respiratory and medical conditions.
Originally from Indiana, Lynn began her nursing career at Indiana University Medical Center and has since developed extensive expertise in cardiovascular critical care, acute care medicine, and trauma management. In addition to her pulmonary practice, she is also a valued member of the Trauma Surgery team at Northside Hospital Gwinnett, where she participates in the care of critically injured patients.
Throughout her career, Lynn has been recognized as a leader and expert in nursing practice. She has served in numerous leadership and specialty roles including Nursing Practice Manager, Rapid Response Team Leader, Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Educator, Preceptor, and IV/PICC Insertion Specialist. Her clinical expertise spans cardiovascular intensive care, trauma care, emergency medicine, and vascular access.
Lynn is also actively involved in education and professional development. She has served as a guest lecturer at the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, providing instruction to Physician Assistant students. Additionally, she works as an Expert Legal Nurse Consultant in medical malpractice cases and regularly serves as a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
She holds board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) and is certified in Adult Critical Care (CCRN). Lynn is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Her contributions to the profession have been recognized through numerous awards including the Uma Pittman Nursing Excellence Scholarship, Clinical Excellence Award, Nursing Leadership Award, and multiple Indianapolis Star Nurse of the Year nominations.
